Magiloop

Features:

Magiloop is a game in the 3D metroid genre. 

The main feature of the game is the spell crafting mechanic. Each spell has its own set of cores, which you can use any of the six elements: Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Light and Darkness. 

Plot:

The protagonist is sent to a desert island by the Corporation. To his surprise, when he arrives it turns out that the island is not uninhabited at all, but its depths hide many dangerous secrets. How far can the Corporation's ruthless orders go, and how many of them will you dare to carry out?

Version limitations:

Unfortunately, our version is very raw, and we literally fixed the most critical bugs twenty minutes before the end of Metroidvania month 17.  We didn't have enough time to fix the rest of the bugs and mechanics.

We didn't have an artist, so we borrowed all the assets from the Asset Store. But we made our own prefabs, levels and other stuff. 

Also we have no experience in making our own music. For that we used the works of Alexander Nakarada. I highly recommend listening to his magical soundtracks here: https://soundcloud.com/serpentsoundstudios

Conclusion:

We are a small team of three people, a game designer and two programmers. We understand that our project does not look coherent, suffers from many bugs and has performance issues. However, we did it all with love and we really hope that you will enjoy our game.
